Keeping Your Garden Wall Fountain Clean
Keeping Your Garden Wall Fountain Clean
No more than three-four months should go by without an extensive cleansing of a fountain. Before you can start washing it you should empty out all of the water. Then use mild soap and a soft sponge to clean inside the reservoir. A good tip is to use a toothbrush if there are small hard-to-reach spots. Do not leave any soap deposit inside or on the fountain.
It is highly suggested taking the pump apart to better clean the inside and eliminate any plankton or calcium. Letting it soak in vinegar for several hours first will make it alot easier to clean. Neither rain water nor mineral water contain ingredients that will accumulate inside the pump, so use either over tap water if possible.
Finally, be sure to have a quick look at your fountain every day and add water if you notice that the level is low. Permitting the water level to get too low can cause damage to the pump - and you certainly do not want that!
A Smaller Garden Space? You Can Have a Water Feature too!

Your backyard vegetation is a fantastic area to incorporate in your water feature. Your pond, artificial river, or fountain is the perfect feature to draw people’s attention. The versatility of water features is that they can be set up in large backyards as well as in small verandas. The atmosphere can be significantly altered by placing it in the best place and using the proper accessories.
