Use a Garden Wall Fountain To Help Improve Air Quality
You can liven up your environment by installing an indoor wall fountain. Setting up this type of indoor feature positively affects your senses and your general health. The science behind the theory that water fountains can be good for you is irrefutable. The negative ions created by these types of water features overtake the positive ones ending in positive shifts to both your mental and physical health. You can become more alert, calm and lively due to an increase in the serotonin levels resulting from these types of features. An improved state of mind as well as a removal of air impurities stems from the negative ions released by indoor wall fountains Allergies, air-borne pollutants among other annoyances can be done away with by these water features. Finally, these fountains absorb dust particles and micro-organisms in the air thereby influencing your general health for the better.
When and Where Did Water Fountains Emerge?
When and Where Did Water Fountains Emerge? Pope Nicholas V, himself a learned man, reigned the Roman Catholic Church from 1397 to 1455 during which time he commissioned many translations of old classical Greek texts into Latin. In order to make Rome worthy of being the capital of the Christian world, the Pope decided to enhance the beauty of the city. At the bidding of the Pope, the Aqua Vergine, a damaged aqueduct which had transported clean drinking water into Rome from eight miles away, was reconditioned starting in 1453. Building a mostra, a grandiose celebratory fountain built by ancient Romans to memorialize the entry point of an aqueduct, was a custom revived by Nicholas V. The architect Leon Battista Alberti was directed by the Pope to construct a wall fountain where we now find the Trevi Fountain. The water which eventually furnished the Trevi Fountain as well as the acclaimed baroque fountains in the Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Navona flowed from the modified aqueduct which he had renovated.
