Classic Greece: The Inception of Outdoor Statue Design
Classic Greece: The Inception of Outdoor Statue Design Though many sculptors were compensated by the temples to decorate the sophisticated columns and archways with renderings of the gods, as the time period came to a close, it became more prevalent for sculptors to represent ordinary people as well because many of Greeks had started to think of their religion as superstitious rather than sacred. Wealthy individuals would often times commission a rendering of their forefathers for their large family tombs; portraiture also became frequent and would be appropriated by the Romans upon their acquisition of Greek civilization. The use of sculpture and other art forms differed over the many years of The Greek Classical period, a time of artistic progress when the arts had more than one goal. It could be the advanced quality of Greek sculpture that captivates our attention today; it was on a leading-edge practice of the ancient world whether it was made for religious purposes or artistic pleasure.Bernini's Public Fountains

The One Cleaning Solution to NEVER Use On Your Water Wall Fountains
The One Cleaning Solution to NEVER Use On Your Water Wall Fountains Water fountains will keep working a very long time with regular cleaning and maintenance.
A complete cleaning every 3-4 months is best for garden fountains. Before you can start cleaning it you should drain out all of the water. As soon as it is empty, scrub inside the reservoir with a gentle cleanser. A good tip is to use a toothbrush if there are tiny hard-to-reach spots. Be sure to completely rinse the inside of the fountain to make sure all the soap is gone.
Make sure you get rid of any calcium or plankton by taking the pump apart and washing the inside properly. Letting it soak in vinegar for several hours first will make it much easier to clean. If you want to eliminate build-up in your fountain, use rain water or mineral water rather than tap water, as these don’t contain any ingredients that will stick to the inside of the pump.
Finally, be sure to have a quick look at your fountain every day and add water if you see that the level is depleted. Permitting the water level to get too low can cause damage to the pump - and you certainly do not want that!
