The Beautiful Early Masterpieces by Bernini
The Beautiful Early Masterpieces by Bernini
Bernini's earliest fountain, named Barcaccia, is a breath taking work of art seen at the bottom of the Trinita dei Monti in Piaza di Spagna. Roman residents and site seers who appreciate conversation as well as being the company of others still flood this spot. One of the city’s most stylish gathering places are the streets surrounding Bernini's fountain, which would undoubtedly have brought a smile to the great Bernini. In about 1630, the great artist built the first water fountain of his career at the behest of Pope Ubano VIII. People can now see the fountain as a depiction of a great ship gradually sinking into the Mediterranean. According to 16th century reports, a great flood of the Tevere covered the entire area in water, an event which was commemorated by the tremendous fountain. Absenting himself from Italy only once in his life for a lengthy period of time, in 1665 Bernini traveled to France.

The Wide Array of Outdoor Wall Fountains Having a wall fountain in your garden or on a terrace is ideal when you seek to relax. You can have one custom-built to suit your specifications even if you have a minimum amount of space.
Both the stand alone and fitted types need to have a spout, a water basin, internal tubing, and a pump. There are many different varieties available on the market including traditional, fashionable, classical, or Asian. Stand-alone wall fountains, commonly known as floor fountains, are noticeably big and feature a basin on the ground.
It is possible to integrate a wall-mounted water feature onto an already existent wall or built into a new wall. This type of fountain adds to a cohesive look making it appear as if it was part of the landscape rather than an added feature.
