With their visibly pleasing shape you can also use them to accentuate the decor in your home or other living area.
You can also have fun watching the striking water display, experience the serenity, and avoid any undesirable noises with the soothing sounds of water.
Bernini's Public Fountains
Bernini's Public Fountains There are many celebrated Roman water features in its city center. Nearly all of them were planned, architected and built by one of the finest sculptors and artists of the 17th century, Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Marks of his life's efforts are obvious throughout the streets of Rome simply because, in addition to his abilities as a fountain builder, he was also a city builder. Bernini's father, a recognized Florentine sculptor, guided his young son, and they eventually relocated in Rome, to thoroughly show their artwork in the form of community water fountains and water features. An excellent worker, the young Bernini received compliments and the backing of many popes and important designers. He was originally celebrated for his sculpture. An expert in classic Greek architecture, he used this knowledge as a platform and melded it flawlessly with Roman marble, most famously in the Vatican. Though he was influenced by many, Michelangelo had the most profound impact on him, both personally and professionally.
