Can Large Garden Fountains Help Detoxify The Air?
Can Large Garden Fountains Help Detoxify The Air? An otherwise boring ambiance can be livened up with an indoor wall fountain. Installing this type of indoor feature positively affects your senses and your general health.
The research behind this theory endorses the fact that water fountains can positively impact your health. The negative ions emitted by water features are counterbalanced with the positive ions produced by contemporary conveniences. The negative ions created by these types of water features overtake the positive ones resulting in positive changes to both your psychological and physical wellness. A rise in serotonin levels is felt by those who have one of these water features making them more alert, peaceful and lively. Due to the negative ions it releases, an indoor wall fountain can improve your mood and also eliminate impurities in the air. Water features also help in eliminating allergens, pollutants among other types of irritants. And finally, water fountains are excellent at absorbing dust and microbes floating in the air and as a result in bettering your general health.
Back Story of Garden Water Fountains
Back Story of Garden Water Fountains Pope Nicholas V, himself a well educated man, ruled the Roman Catholic Church from 1397 to 1455 during which time he commissioned many translations of old classic Greek documents into Latin. It was important for him to beautify the city of Rome to make it worthy of being known as the capital of the Christian world. Beginning in 1453, the ruined ancient Roman aqueduct known as the Aqua Vergine which had brought clean drinking water into the city from eight miles away, underwent repair at the behest of the Pope. Building a mostra, an imposing celebratory fountain built by ancient Romans to memorialize the arrival point of an aqueduct, was a custom revived by Nicholas V. The present-day location of the Trevi Fountain was previously occupied by a wall fountain commissioned by the Pope and built by the architect Leon Battista Alberti. The Trevi Fountain as well as the well-known baroque fountains found in the Piazza del Popolo and the Piazza Navona were eventually supplied with water from the altered aqueduct he had reconstructed.
