The translation of hundreds of classical Greek texts into Latin was commissioned by the learned Pope Nicholas V who ruled the Church in Rome from 1397 till 1455. Adequate care and regular cleaning are important to the longevity of water fountains. It is essential to clean it out and take out any debris or foreign elements that might have fallen into or onto it.
