The Godfather Of Rome's Garden Water Fountains
The Godfather Of Rome's Garden Water Fountains In Rome’s city center, there are countless famous fountains. One of the most distinguished sculptors and artists of the 17th century, Gian Lorenzo Bernini designed, conceptualized and built almost all of them.
Keeping Your Wall Water Fountain Clean

Every 3-4 months, garden fountains should go through a decent cleaning. The first task is to get rid of all of the water. Then use a soft rag and gentle cleanser to scrub the inside. If there are any little grooves, use a toothbrush to get every spot. Be sure to thoroughly rinse the inner surface of the fountain to make sure all the soap is gone.
Make sure you get rid of any calcium or plankton by taking the pump apart and washing the inside thoroughly. You might want to let it soak in vinegar for a few hours to make it much less difficult to clean. If you want to eliminate build-up in your fountain, use rain water or mineral water versus tap water, as these don’t contain any elements that might stick to the inside of the pump.
Lastly, make sure your fountain is always full by checking it every day - this will keep it in tip-top shape. Permitting the water level to get too low can result in damage to the pump - and you certainly don't want that!
